It is very natural, both hosts tell you what an important question you are asking (making one feel good about the interruption), and then they proceed to answer the question with aplomb.
They do a good job of integrating the sources, and in my short experience, they have not hallucinated. Remember, they only use the sources you have imported into NotebookLM, which makes their focus much better than having to go out on the Internet for more material.
